But my rhythm was recently disrupted by a different story, one of students in impoverished areas who have the passion to learn but are blocked by the simplest, yet most insurmountable, hurdle: lack of basic school books. It truly broke my heart, especially as I reflected on my own opportunities.

I want to do more than just feel bad about it. I want to help, and I realized I have a way. I’m opening up my private collection for you all, offering up specific items that have been a deeply personal part of my journey, unwashed and holding my energy.
